Anti-Palin rally is the largest rally in Alaska History

The Republican majority in the Alaska legislature voted to have Sarah Palin investigated for abuses of power and ethical violations.  After just two years as Governor, it looks like the people of Alaska (especially the women) aren't real fond of her either.  Check out this article and video:http://mudflats.wordpress.com/2008/09/14/alaska-women-reject-palin-rally-is-huge/   Don't miss the pictures at the bottom of the protest signs, they are a hoot.  My favorite:  "Don't insult my pitbull."

The most interesting thing in the article is that the idea for the rally came from a small group of women having coffee who started distributing flyers.  It reminds of something Margaret Mead said:  "Never underestimate the power of a small group of committed citizens to change the world. Indeed, it has never been done otherwise."
